We can assure you that the story is much less exciting than it seems. Here is the part of the story that is not in dispute: Thirty-nine-year-old Ionel Popa went home drunk after his employer paid him in wine instead of cash. That night, he whined about the cold and forced his wife Marinela Benea to keep a fire goinga| all night. When he woke up, she told him to go out and do some work or do some housework. An 11-year-old boy from Suzhou, China is said to have sliced off his own index finger to settle an argument with his father who believed that he had a smartphone addiction. Priest Does Cocaine in Nazi Room

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating allegations that a Catholic priest, Fr Stephen Crossan, used Cocaine in a room on the St Patrick’s Church grounds in Banbridge, in July 2015. The Sun obtained footage of a man, who appears to be Fr Crossan, snorting what appears to be a thick line of cocaine… in a room on the church grounds that apparently contained Nazi memorabilia. Your author is of the humble opinion that a grown adult should have the right to decide the substances that he or she decides to put into his or her own body – but a man of the cloth with a collection of Nazi memorabilia… that’s disgusting. In all fairness, I watched this video half-a-dozen […]

Russian readers argue over poetry versus prose, murder wins

A drunken argument been two teachers (one current, one former) about the merits of poetry versus prose turned deadly in the town of Irbit, in the Sverlovsk region of Russia. The police allege that the inebriated educators fell into a bitter disagreement about whether literature or poetry should be considered prose: the host was in favor of traditional literature, while the guest favored poetry. The federal police issued the following statement: The host insisted that real literature is prose, while his guest, a former teacher, argued for poetry. The literary dispute soon grew into a banal conflict, on the basis of which the 53-year-old admirer of poetry killed his opponent with the help of a knife. The poetry fan fled […]

The shovel is mightier than the chainsaw

While the chainsaw has a somewhat fearsome reputation, thanks largely to movies like Scarface and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre events that transpired in Geelong, Australia last month suggest that it may be unfounded – and that a shovel might in fact, be a superior weapon. Luke Shields and Bradley Mark tested this hypothesis on January 20, 2016 when they engaged in a bloody altercation which involved both of the aforementioned tools. According to the police, Shields, a 35-year-old man of no fixed address confronted Mark, a 36-year-old Grovedale resident, and trouble ensued. Detective Senior Constable Naomi Bourke explained: Mark armed himself with a chainsaw and Shields armed himself with a shovel and the two fought across four lanes of traffic […]

Woman burns down apartment after 50-year-old son fails to clean up room

Police in Saitama, Japan reported the arrest of a 71-year-old woman on suspicion of arson… for allegedly setting her adult son’s room on fire. According to the Sankei Shimbun, Eiko Sasaki set fire to the room of her 50-year-old son at around 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Her motivation, it would seem, is that he failed to clean up a pile of magazines. The fire went on to destroy the rest of their 50-square meter apartment. Sasaki allegedly confessed to lighting a newspaper and throwing it into her son’s room while he was out. There are some people who would think that this is an unbelievably sad turn of events. Dad And Kids Cover Depeche Mode Is Best. Thing. Ever.

And in the world of awesome cuteness… A father in Colombia, Dicken Schrader, and his two kids (who look to be between 5 – 8 years old) do the most amazing cover of Depeche Mode’s hit Everything Counts and the video has gone viral. In it, the father plays on a plastic coke bottle and tambourine with his feet, while hitting a xylophone, his son uses a keyboard and kids maraca and his daughter plays a recorder and some wind chimes. All the music is made of kids toys and other household items and the kids do backup to Dad’s vocals. This isn’t the first video the family has done. In fact, they go by the name DMK and have […]

Two Teens Save 5-Year Old Girl From Kidnappers

“It was just out of heart. It wasnat to get attention or anything. It was just to help somebody in the community, help make sure another little life was okay and make sure her future could be possible.” This is the reason 15-year old Temar Boggs gave for wanting to join the search to find an abducted 5-year old girl in his community. 5 Dove Cameron Songs That Whisk Me Away to Escapist Fantasies

The same can be said about her latest release, "Remember Me." In an interview with POPSUGAR, the songstress opened up about the rapt single and its gist of cradling fond memories. "Life is just like a series of things coming to an end," Cameron said. "We live in a sort of constant state of mourning over the things that we love, but are always leaving us, or always dying, or always venting, and 'Remember Me' is a bit of an expression of that. It's a bit of a, 'I will only be this beautiful, this young, this healthy, this vibrant right now, and will never be more beautiful and in my prime than I am right now.' And while I'm aware of that, I also know that it's ending and that this is fleeting."

Obviously, I'm looking forward to Cameron's upcoming album. We don't know when it will drop yet, but we're fully prepared for the journey she's going to take us through. Thankfully, we have a handful of jams to hold us over until the LP makes its way onto our playlists. Listen to Cameron's best songs ahead and read how they transport us to an imaginative world.
